Dan is the technician behind most of the board-level repairs that come through MacTech Pro. He specialises in component-level and micro-soldering work, the no-power faults, liquid damage and failed power circuitry that many shops won’t attempt and that authorised channels usually solve by replacing the whole board. Every diagnostic is run to the same careful standard, in front of the customer wherever possible, and Dan personally stands behind the work.

Richard is our screen specialist, and few people have replaced more MacBook displays. With 18 years of experience replacing screens across the MacBook Air and Pro ranges, he handles everything from shattered glass and dead panels to the delicate, fully laminated Liquid Retina and XDR assemblies on the newest 13-inch, 14-inch and 16-inch models, with a rare eye for perfect edges and finish. He fits the correct screen for your model, tests it before and after, and refits every single screw.
